Jessie Mae Daughtry Bailey
Jessie Mae Daughtry Bailey, 95, died on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Northampton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, NC.
Mrs. Bailey was born on July 12, 1923, in Northampton County, daughter of the late Walter Vance and Jessie Holloman Daughtry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bailey; three sisters, Louise Witt, Earldean Starke and Kathryn Grant; and one brother, William Moore Daughtry.
Surviving are her stepdaughter, Ann Pervis and her husband, Tim, and family. Also, surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rev. Ricky Barnes will conduct funeral services on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Lasker Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Lasker Town Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Askew Funeral Service - Jackson Chapel, Jackson, NC.
